Pretty in Pink

In Venezuela (and South America), we have the tradition of celebrating a young girl´s fifteens. This is the equivalent of the american "Sweet Sixteen".
The celebration (and MTV reality show) is just the same: spoiled fifteen-year-old girl (or boy) wants The Greatest Party Ever and does WHATEVER IT TAKES to get it.
And of course, for said party, she needs The Prettiest (traditionally Pink) Gown Ever.
Most of them seem to me, worthy of making a new category on the Razzie Awards, because they are as tasteless and tacky as a tacky, tasteless "Sweet Fifteen" dress can ever get to be. Molly Ringwald would be disappointed.
But don´t missunterstand me, there´s a small but existent percentage of people who choose a dress that is, what I would call, pretty.
