It is the couple's second visit to the tournament this week. On Wednesday they supported British number one Andy Murray in his efforts to win through the quarter-finals and retake the title he successfully claimed last year. Unfortunately Andy was unsuccessful in his bid. Today Wimbledon's prince Roger Federer, who has won Wimbledon an astounding seven times, competed against Novak Djokovic in the hopes of securing his eighth, making him the record holder for the title.
Of course, we can merely speculate but I've heard Kate and Pippa are huge fans of Roger Federer.

It was a beautiful day in London and the atmosphere was electric with a host of past and present tennis stars and celebrities including, Kate Beckinsale, Hugh Jackman, Orlando Bloom, Bradley Cooper, Samuel L. Jackson, Rod Laver, David and Victoria Beckham enjoying the match.

Michael, Carole and Pippa Middleton were there too. For those interested, Pippa's dress is by Kate Spade New York. It's completely sold out as present.
The couple watched the match intently.
It provided plenty of tense moments as the two talented players fought for each point.
And joyful ones too.
The Duchess has been an enormous fan of the sport for years, a fact very much evident by her expressions during the game.
Prince William got into the spirit of the game.
We do love seeing little moments of PDA between the couple.
The couple were on their feet as Roger Federer claimed the fourth set.
It was a truly fantastic final which offered fans five sets of spectacular tennis. Novak Djokovic was victorious in the end. Congratulations to both men for an amazing final.
William and Kate congratulated Novak after the match. During the chat the tennis star asked Kate about playing "I'm slightly out of practice since having George" she said. Kate also revealed the two enjoy "competitive games" and when asked who wins most in practice "It's even". You can watch a video here.
In a change from her usual choice of white dress, Kate brought back the Jonathan Saunders 'Evelyn' dress she first wore during the Malaysia tour in 2012.
And joyful ones too.

In a change from her usual choice of white dress, Kate brought back the Jonathan Saunders 'Evelyn' dress she first wore during the Malaysia tour in 2012.
The Evelyn is a cotton viscose blend with short sleeves, a self-belt to cinch in the waist and a back v neckline. The forest green, aqua and white print gives the garment a summery feel. It's from the designers Pre-Fall 2012 collection and originally retailed for £840 and sold out entirely some time ago.
The dress is described this way:
'From a collection inspired by designer Charlotte Perriand, this green-check-print Evelyn cotton dress by Jonathan Saunders captures a retro-cool 60's vibe. A figure-flattering shape cuts a classically feminine silhouette.'
Jonathan Saunders is a Scottish designer, one we've seen Kate wear with some frequency lately, and knowing the level of thought and consideration which goes into her sartorial selections, I would guess it may be a nod to last year's champion Andy Murray. The first time the Duchess wore it, it was considered a nod to the host country, with the colours being very similar to the Solomon Islands flag. Indeed, it wasn't the only reference to Andy today; 12-year-old Nathan Bullimore, representing Action for Chldren Scotland, conducted the coin toss, upon Andy's recommendation.
Kate carried a cream scarf and her L.K. Bennett Avona Clutch.
The Duchess accessorised with her Kiki McDonough green amethyst earrings and Givenchy sunglasses.

Kate wore her Cartier watch, an accessory she is rarely photographed without.

Some of you noted Kate has been looking rather tired lately. I watched the tennis live and think she looks radiant and in excellent form today. The new haircut really suits her.
It was great to see William and Kate at Wimbledon twice this year.

In other news, there have been some changes to William and Kate's household. Their most trusted aide Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who recently reduced his role to work in the private sector, has been appointed an extra equerry. It's largely an honorary role which will not involve any regular duties. William and Kate asked Jamie to be George's godfather last year and his influence has been credited in helping William particularly, in recent years.
Their communication secretary Ed Perkins is leaving to retrain as a lawyer. The former BBC producer has been with the royal household for seven years and is expected to leave before the end of this year. Below we see Mr. Perkins taking the announcement of George's birth to Buckingham Palace where it was placed on an easel.
There's been consistent rumblings from the media regarding strained relations and a breakdown in communication between William and Kate's communication staff and the press. Perhaps a change could improve this?

Fans of Kate favourite Beulah London will be pleased to hear their Spring/Summer 2014 sale is currently underway.

Sale pieces include breathtaking gowns, The Aurora, The Jasper and The Bisque. There's also scarves, cocktail dresses and printed tops on offer. They would all look wonderful on the Duchess particularly the Aurora, as it offers a vibrant splash of colour.

At present, there are no engagements announced for Kate until the Commonwealth Games on 28th of July, however, we expect to hear something within the next week. We hope you're all having a lovely weekend and thank you all for reading this week :)
